I just had a last minute cancellation of our subletter. We are leaving for 6 weeks on Monday (June 20-August 3rd). It's in Jackson Heights, Queens, and it's a 1-bedroom. It's $1775 including all utilities regardless of move- in date (that's our monthly rent amount!). The address is 90-11 35th Avenue, Jackson Heights, 11372. There is an elevator, a brand new AC in the bedroom, and a brand new queen-sized mattress for the bedroom. AC in the living room too. Twin beds in the bedroom come together to make a queen bed. The living room couch folds into a bed, and there are curtains for a "guest bedroom" (my hubby and I sleep there, and the kids sleep in the bedroom). It's in an international neighborhood, with delicious food, and a bus to the Roosevelt hub is right on the corner (q49). Laundry is in the building. Ideally, we'd love to meet you before we leave, but our friends can show you the place if we are already gone. $100 refundable cleaning deposit. Non-smoking, no pets. It's affordable and clean.
